Plaids & Stripes

Classic comfort, with a little rugged refinement.

Plaids & Stripes was created for someone who appreciates a well-poured drink, a quiet evening, and the unmistakable pleasure of things chosen well.

Presented on a handsome round leather tray with brass handles, this richly layered gift brings together warm tartan, tailored stripes, softly worn leather, and a few indulgences for settling in. A plaid warming wrap offers soothing comfort, while a locally made candle—with notes of tabac, paper, and leather—creates the atmosphere of an old library or favorite fireside chair.

Thoughtful barware, a beautifully striped linen towel, carefully selected treats, and distinctive finishing details complete a gift that feels collected rather than assembled.

Gift includes:

• Round leather tray with brass handles
• Plaid warming wrap for the neck and shoulders
• Locally made tabac, paper, and leather scented candle
• Whiskey Socks on the Rocks gift set with whiskey glass
• Striped linen bar towel
• Chocolate cigar
• Curated bar accompaniments and indulgent treats
• Irish Daisy gift enclosure and handwritten message

The Story Behind the Name

Years ago, I wandered into a fabric shop called Plaids & Stripes while searching for fabric for the home we were building. I walked out with an opportunity to sew window treatments, pillows, bedspreads, and other custom pieces for three designers—and eventually, they began turning to me for design input.

That unexpected visit helped shape an entirely new chapter of my life. This gift is a nod to beautiful materials, timeless pattern, and the wonderful things that can grow from one seemingly ordinary moment.

Plaids & Stripes is beautifully suited for birthdays, retirements, thank-you gifts, housewarmings, hosts, grooms, fathers—or anyone who deserves an invitation to slow down and enjoy the evening.

Final contents may vary slightly as this collection is completed. Any substitution will preserve the character, quality, and value of the original design. Alcohol is not included.
